The Sabah Edition
For nearly two decades I have soared the skies as an aviator and I fly still. It has given me a vantage point few ever see : cities reduced to light, coastlines traced in a single glance, distance itself made visible.
But the version of the world worth remembering is lived at ground level, in a neighbourhood chosen well, a meal that reveals something true, an unhurried morning encountered at exactly the right time. Flying gives me the distance, travelling gives me the ground. I have never been able to love one without the other.
I created The Sabah Edition to turn that way of travelling into something others could use. A considered edit of each destination, shaped by experience.
Because the real luxury of travel is not having every option. It is knowing what is worth choosing.

Early Days
A name and a reason for it
- Sabah, Arabic for dawn, became the name for a studio built around the idea that time is the scarcest luxury in travel.
Foundations
Two ways to travel with us
- The Compass and Bespoke Curation were built as two distinct tiers: one for independent travellers, one for those who want everything planned.
First Editions
Japan & Türkiye
- The first two Compass editions launched, each built city by city, verified first hand, with unconfirmed details never left to guesswork.
What's Next
