The Compass · Japan
Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Fuji, Tokyo
Five cities, paced the way they’re meant to be travelled, not rushed through.
Five Cities, One Journey
Each one earns its place in the itinerary
Osaka
- The soft landing. Food-first, unhurried, built to shake off jet lag before the trip picks up pace.
Hiroshima
- One night, deeply felt. Peace Memorial Park by evening, Miyajima's floating torii by morning.
Kyoto
- Four days at the cultural core. Temples, tea ceremonies, craft and the slow rhythm of Arashiyama.
Fuji
- Two days to slow all the way down. Onsen, ryokan and Mt. Fuji at sunset.
Tokyo
- The finale. Harry Potter magic, Ginza nights and a city that keeps giving until the last day.
See Exactly What You're Getting
One full day, unlocked
- A note on pace: after several high-paced days, this is where the trip deliberately slows down. Two days here are about the views and the rest, not a checklist.
Fuji · Day 1: Arrive & Keep It Light
Afternoon · Check-in
- Keep the arrival simple. Nothing far from the hotel, just enough to settle in.
Evening · Chureito Pagoda, at Sunset
- A fair bit of walking and climbing to reach it, but worth every step. The pagoda-and-Fuji view is best saved for sunset, and it's close enough to keep day one light.
Night · Onsen
- The main event of day one. Relax and take in the views the hotel was chosen for.
- This is one day, from one city. There are 14 more like it.
